Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to work together?

The investment for individual therapy is $150 per 50 min. session.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

To better increase access to therapy, I am an in-network provider for Aetna and UnitedHealthcare.

Where will we meet?

All services are currently virtual only through a HIPAA compliant system, Simple Practice. You will complete all paperwork and access your session links through your personal client portal.

I am licensed to work with clients that currently reside in Nevada and Texas.

Iā€™m an out-of-state tele health provider for clients that currently reside in Florida.

I am a traveling therapist and therefore meet with my clients from different places depending on where I am physically located at the time of session. Your confidentiality is of utmost importance to me and I will always offer a HIPAA compliant virtual space for us to meet.

I do often meet with clients from my van. You will hear the occasional dog snore. They are my co-therapists (and they snore really loudly in their senior years.)

what do you often work with?

Therapy is individualized and unique to your specific situations. Topics that often come up for folks I work with are:

LGBTQIA+, Interpersonal Relationships, Exploring your Identities and Values, Religious/ Spiritual Conflicts, Recovery from People-Pleasing, Purity Culture Recovery, Reclaiming Pleasure, Navigating your Inner Critic, Integrating Self-Compassion, and Highly Sensitive Persons

how long do you typically work with clients?

I currently see new clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis as this is the most supportive way for us to establish our therapeutic relationship and build safety. I typically work with clients over a period of at least several months. Therapy is vulnerable and having a therapist that you can return to that you trust is vital in supporting you in your healing. Ultimately, I give lots of choice to my clients in their frequency and how long they stay in therapy. You know yourself best!

do you offer on-call services?

I do not offer on-call services. For this reason, folks who may need a higher level of care are encouraged to reach out to other providers who are able to provide support outside of scheduled sessions.

How do i get started?

Therapy starts with an initial free 15 min. phone consultation to ensure that we are a good fit for therapy and to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
